About The Position

OBJECTIVE: The cycle counter is to ensure items in inventory reflect a correct quantity in the computer by counting items as scheduled and making necessary changes in the computer. The cycle counter will research and report major discrepancies to the Inventory Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Count and update all items on the daily schedule Stock store from “Items In Back stock” list Load shelves from back stock as needed Assist Hardware Receiving/Stocking during down times Clean and face store shelves, dust shelves and product, and sweep store Spot count as requested by the Inventory Manager Walk complete store and fill shelves from overstock on all aisles Ensure that all overstock is neatly organized and labeled with sku and description Maintain receiving room including moving back stock to store shelves as space allows, sweeping, clearly labeling all back stock. Assist with price changes Provide backup for Hardware Receiving Stocking of products inside store PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed. Responsibilities
