Job Overview Must be able to operate a foklift and have forklift expierence The Cycle Counter will be expected to complete all job functions listed below to ensure an accurate inventory of raw materials is maintained on a daily basis. Inventory and locations of raw materials will be maintained throughout the entire process from receiving to the end finish good. As receiving will be one of the primary functions of this position accurate tracking of raw materials will be crucial to successfully complete this task. This position will require the associate to maintain a close working relationship with all departments while keeping safety and food safety in the fore front of all actions and decisions being made in the plant.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 40 LBS repetitively
  • Employee will be on their feet up to 10 hours a day
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
  • Previous inventory experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of process and equipment
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Receiving of spice, packaging and corrugate materials.
  • All materials will be received into Macola and must include a tag that will be placed on the materials.
  • Ensuring raw materials are stored in the proper location and are scanned accordingly.
  • Support accounting in reconciling of any raw material discrepancies found on shop floor orders.
  • Support of unloading LTL deliveries when needed.
  • Conducting daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Ensuring raw materials are stored in the proper location and are scanned accordingly.
  • Support accounting in reconciling of any raw material discrepancies found on shop floor orders.
  • Support of unloading LTL deliveries when needed.
  • Ability to identify visual defects and make correction as needed and identify and distinguish between colors.
  • Must be able to work in areas of varying temperatures.
  • Relieve other associates as necessary.
  • Maintain good housekeeping.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and adhere to JSA guidelines.
  • Follow daily set up and/or shutdown procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Responsible for Food Safety and Quality Culture.
  • Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience with utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to safely operate a powered lift.
  • Utilization of scan gun
  • Basic problem solving skills
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail Oriented and adamant about accuracy
  • Basic understanding of Inventory control procedures
