About The Position

Nature & Scope: A Cycle Counter I associate must have good math skills along with good verbal and written communication skills. This position will count material in both manufacturing and finished goods warehouses using Powered Industrial Trucks at high levels. This position requires working closely with accounting personnel. A Cycle Counter I will participate in all physical inventories as directed. Periodically, they are required to attend additional job training to ensure continuous improvement. This position reports to the Plant Controller. Dimensions: Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition. Detect and report defective materials or equipment issues. Follow all safety processes and procedures. Knowledge of SAP and/or WMi inventory transactions and ability to research problems. Knowledge of and ability to use Scan guns. Knowledge of and ability to use Powered Industrial Trucks (order pickers, etc.) Basic computer skills, Proficient in Excel Integrity & trust worthiness

Requirements

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts in MFG and CDC as directed (including VLMs)
Assist with at least one Kaizen/Belt project per year (preferably related to inventory)
Assist Inventory Analysts as needed on root cause analysis.
Assist with cycle count reporting as needed.
Help ensure SOX guidelines for inventory controls are met.
Work with External and Internal Auditors as needed.
Open to multi-tasking
Participate in physical inventory counts.
