Requirements

  • 1 year preferred Cycle Count experience
  • Inventory Control experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Inventory flow, JIT principles, automotive background preferred
  • Must be available to work overtime as required
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office and CMS System)
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Excellent math skills required to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Forklift license and/or previous forklift experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate perpetual inventories by cycle counting and problem resolution of perpetual inventory variances within CMS system
  • Responsible for proper handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery of both material and product per control plans utilizing TS16949 & ISO14001 documented systems and authority to initiate appropriate action necessary to prevent non-conformance to customer specifications
  • Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy of CMS
  • Investigate variances in perpetual inventory
  • Provide CMS system users support with inventory & barcode labeling issues
  • Correct production issues as requested from operators and supervisors
  • Prepare inventory variance forms & reports with analysis and KPIs
  • Help ensure material is stored and location recorded in system
  • Participate in regular physical inventory
  • Develop and implement Continuous Improvement suggestions which improve inventory accuracy
  • Housekeeping and other activities as assigned
