The Cycle Counter 2 is responsible for ensuring the integrity of inventory records by creating and executing daily cycle counts and completing root cause analysis. This role involves creating cycle count documents, performing assigned cycle counts and physical inventories, and accurately locating and counting parts. The Cycle Counter 2 must execute required WMS data input and complete necessary documentation while providing basic root cause analysis. The position also entails maintaining the inventory integrity of all Warehouse and WIP inventories, communicating the status of cycle counts to internal customers, and complying with Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) and housekeeping processes. Additionally, the role requires applying knowledge of material flow and basic warehousing principles to assignments.

  • Create cycle count documents.
  • Perform assigned cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Locate and count parts accurately, execute required WMS data input, and complete required documentation.
  • Provide basic root cause analysis.
  • Maintain inventory integrity of all Warehouse and WIP inventories.
  • Communicate the status of cycle counts to appropriate internal customers.
  • Comply with general Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) and Warehouse housekeeping processes.
  • Apply knowledge of material flow and basic warehousing principles to assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Cycle Count Supervisor.
  • Minimum 2 years prior warehouse experience and/or knowledge of inventory control activities.
  • Ability to multi-task daily.
  • Fanatically organized.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments.
  • Prior computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to investigate and navigate system data for basic root cause analysis and reconciliation.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of GMP's.
  • Previous work experience in a medical manufacturing environment.
  • SAP and Agile software experience.
