About The Position

The Cycle Count Specialist is responsible for managing, and coordinating inventory cycle counts throughout the entire plant in order to ensure inventory levels remain accurate while satisfy customer on-time delivery expectations. Daily actions will include cycle counting in all areas of the plant. Requirements

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures with a moderate amount of supervision
  • Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options

Responsibilities

  • Count assigned items daily and complete monthly cycle count goals of all assigned items (B & C level items for entire Loveland Facility).
  • Use extreme productivity to allow time to assist other Material Planners with their assigned cycle counts.
  • Participate in quarterly cycle count audits (counts are in addition to monthly assignments).
  • Investigate to root cause on inventory inaccuracies through Oracle, receipt history, problem solving, etc.
  • Drive project ideas and lead teams in improvement workshops.
  • Work with support departments (purchasing, sister companies, etc.) to maintain correct inventory and safety stock levels.
  • Input and update BOM's and routings, using product knowledge and information provided by other departments.
  • Participating in and supporting events around inventory accuracy to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage Inventory levels for assigned report codes.
  • Implement ECO changes in accordance with the quality system guidelines.
  • Suggest improvements and support kaizen and VES activities.
  • Comply with company safety and good housekeeping policies.
