The driver works as a member of the shipping and receiving operations. The driver performs local deliveries and pick-ups.

Requirements

Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely at all times
Prior experience driving a Tesla Cybertruck (or similar electric truck) is required.
AZ DL required
2 or more year(s) experience as truck driver
Must be able to lift 50 LBS repeatedly
Must be able to work in hot weather conditions
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Operate company-owned truck to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Operate trucks for the delivery and pickup of ChemResearch products and materials, occasional pick-up of ordered inventory items.
Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA, and the company safety programs
Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Sorts, counts, and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for services and distributes items to shipping or to the designated route driver staging area.
Ensuring the warehouse is accessible, clean, and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
Prepares & records items shipped or received via appropriate computer program (UPS, FedEx, Workflo, etc.)
The inventories department supplies and completes requisition forms to order supplies.
Provides outstanding customer service during delivery/pickup and shipping/receiving operations.
Operate all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklift, pallet jacks, etc., in accordance with OSHA and company safety program requirements.
Maintain and protect all property entrusted in excellent condition,n including electronic devices.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall Shipping & Receiving operations (i.e., Account Manager duties).
