About The Position

Cyberspace Operations Action Officer The Opportunity: When our country’s cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough—we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support our national security, we need strategic policy development. That’s why we need you, a Cyberspace Operations Action Officer specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience. As a cyber strategic planning and policy development specialist on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of the client's current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll assess how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. You'll bring an in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Serve as the Operations Manager and Lead Action Officer for a DoD Senior Executive responsible for cyber acquisition portfolios and capability development. Act as an advisor and integrator of workstreams across the organization. Coordinate support for government and contractors to manage taskings and coordinate staffing packages for senior leadership and departmental requirements. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience serving on DoD staffs and interacting with senior leaders
  • Experience with leading teams to meet timelines and deliverables
  • Experience with coordinating and leading meetings, both pre-planned and short notice
  • Ability to be a team player
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with writing and reviewing senior-level DoD and Joint Staff correspondence
  • Experience with supporting DoD Cyber-focused organizations
  • Experience with DoD acquisition policy
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
