Enable cybersecurity by maintaining operational security posture and ensures information systems security policies, standards and procedures are established and followed. Ensure Windows and Linux logs are being collected, forwarded and reviewed with Elasticsearch. Conduct vulnerability assessments on containers and analyze, research, and prioritize CVEs and their remediation. Work closely with a team of engineers, including additional system administrators, network engineers, system engineers, and cybersecurity engineers to provide high quality, innovative engineering services. Work with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions. Provide input on cyber requirements, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Requirement Guide (SRG), JFHQ DoDIN Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO). Utilize SCAP tools and vulnerability scanning tools (such as NMAP, Nessus (or Tenable ACAS). Other duties as assigned.
