About The Position

As a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst, you will be part of our Cybersecurity Department that covers cyber threat intelligence in support of cybersecurity operations. You will report to the Senior Cybersecurity Manager - Operations. The focus of this role is to provide tailored and actionable cyber threat intelligence to InterSystems business units.

Requirements

We are open to a broad range of experience levels for this position, and require at least 3+ years of relevant corporate experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or similar field of study preferred
Strong foundational understanding of operating systems and networking
Experience with Python
One or more foundational certifications such as Sec+, Net+, A+ preferred
One or more threat intelligence certifications such as GCTI, CTIA preferred
One or more penetration testing certifications such as GPEN, CEH, GXPN preferred
Infrastructure certifications related to Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferre

Responsibilities

Intelligence Gathering & Analysis Monitor relevant feeds and data sources to identify emerging TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) and indicators.
Synthesize raw data into actionable intelligence products for stakeholders, outlining how specific global threats could impact our unique infrastructure.
Alert Triaging Maintain 24/7 visibility across our digital estate using various cybersecurity detection tools.
Triage security alerts to distinguish between benign anomalies and high-priority threats.
Vulnerability Assessment and Management Utilize existing tools to identify weaknesses in operational environment and cloud configurations.
Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and exploitability, coordinating with the appropriate business units to ensure timely patching and remediation
Incident Response Support the IR team during active security breaches and preparation of potential events.
Support root-cause analysis of incident.
