About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to monitor network traffic and alerts to identify potential threats. The role supports network security analysis, threat hunting, monitoring, and incident response. Responsibilities include the maintenance and configuration of network security tools, utilizing technologies to detect, analyze, and limit intrusions and security events. The individual will remain updated on current threats by participating in continuing education, including but not limited to the TEA Information Security monthly meetings. Additionally, the position provides advice to the Director of Network Services regarding current, evolving, or emerging issues related to networks and information security.
