About The Position
The Dalton Academy is seeking a Cybersecurity Teacher responsible for the instructional delivery of Information Technology, Programming, and Computer Science pathways. This includes courses such as Digital Technology, Computer Science Principles, Programming, and AP Computer Science. The teacher will work with leadership to develop and deliver these courses tailored to the respective student populations. Additionally, the teacher will recruit new students into the Information Technology, Programming, and Computer Science programs and supervise students at all school-related events, including leadership, competition, and community service activities. The teacher will also develop and sponsor a Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) co-curricular chapter, providing leadership opportunities and competition events, as well as sponsoring an esports team. Other related responsibilities may be assigned by the appropriate administrator.
