Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Cyber Security Engineering SME with a minimum of 5 years' experience for work in San Diego, CA.   • Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
  • Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
  • Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification or eligibility is required for this position.
  • Five (5) years of notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Linux+
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or Equivalent
