About The Position

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist, for the Cybersecurity Support Services for Offutt AFB DRSN. This project will provide Cybersecurity Support Services for Offutt AFB’s Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) and other Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems in support of the US Air Force’s 55th Strategic Communications Squadron (55 SCS).This is an on-site position at the Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska Monday–Friday (0730–1630). The Cybersecurity Specialist will be a full-time personnel position for the Cybersecurity Support Services for Offutt AFB DRSN contract, leading three workstreams: 1) Providing ISSO support for the ground portion of the AFGSC Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (G-ASNT) for the purpose of maintaining an Authorization to Operate (ATO) for 55 SCS equipment in the 55 WG Command Post and 55 SCS Tactical Radio transportable equipment; 2) Serving as the primary cybersecurity advisor to establish for non-hardened aircrew alerting system (NAAS) (commonly known as Klaxon) ATO and maintain the ATO as the system; and 3) Serving as a cybersecurity primary advisor to ensure appropriate operational security posture for organizational mission and NC3 systems. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • A current Top Secret clearance.
  • Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Associate’s degree (minimum) in IT or Cybersecurity.
  • Previous experience as Cyber Defense Analyst, or equivalent intermediate-level cybersecurity work role.
  • Training Required in accordance with DoD 8140 for this role: Bachelors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering, OR one of the following certifications: CEH(P), GMON, GRID, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GCED, GDSA, GSEC, PenTest+, Security+. OR one of the following DOD/Military Training: 4C-255S (CP), M03385G, M10395B, M223854, A-531-0451, A-531-4421, A-531-1900, Cyber Defense Analyst (Intermediate) Playlist, DISA (511)
  • Ability to work in classified NC3 environments

Responsibilities

  • Provide RMF/ATO support for G-ASNT, NAAS Klaxon, and other 55 SCS NC3 systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and update RMF packages, SSPs, POA&Ms, artifacts, and controls.
  • Conduct audits (ACAS or approved tools) and maintain audit logs.
  • Advise customers on cybersecurity posture, controls, and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation in eMASS/XACTA and electronic project folders.
  • Provide monthly status reports (MSRs).
