About The Position

C3EL is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist Level II to provide on-site cybersecurity support to the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) supporting the 55th Communications Squadron (55 SCS) at Offutt AFB. This role directly supports sustainment of Authorization to Operate (ATO) posture for the ground portion of the Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (G-ASNT), the Non-Hardened Aircrew Alerting System (NAAS) Klaxon, and associated 55 SCS equipment within the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) mission environment. The Cybersecurity Specialist will assist in execution of Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, artifact development, control validation, audit preparation, and continuous monitoring activities in accordance with Government direction.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • An active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 (IAT II/IAM II or higher, e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CAP, SecurityX)
  • Minimum 2–4 years of cybersecurity or RMF support experience
  • Experience supporting ATO sustainment activities
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 security controls

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in classified environments preferred
  • Working knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools such as ACAS
  • Experience supporting XACTA IA Manager, eMASS, or similar RMF workflow platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site cybersecurity support to the ISSO for G-ASNT ground systems and associated 55 SCS equipment
  • Assist with RMF package maintenance in XACTA IA Manager and eMASS, as directed
  • Develop and maintain A&A artifacts including SSP updates, POA&Ms, control evidence, and supporting documentation
  • Track cybersecurity controls and validation evidence using Government-directed tools
  • Support ACAS-based vulnerability scanning and continuous monitoring activities
  • Assist with audit preparation, inspection readiness, and semi-annual ORSMO reviews
  • Support development and maintenance of system security documentation, network diagrams, rack elevations, and equipment inventories
  • Participate in cybersecurity working groups, stakeholder meetings, and provide meeting minutes when required
  • Assist in monthly audit file backups and documentation of objective evidence
  • Report cybersecurity task status and support inputs to Monthly Status Reports
