PeopleTec is currently seeking an Intermediate Cybersecurity Specialist to support our Huntsville, AL location. Candidate will be responsible for managing RMF packages in accordance with NIST 800-53. Will also be responsible for eMASS entries, package reviews, and recommendations to the ISSM and PM. Qualified candidates should have 5 years RMF/eMASS experience. People First. Technology Always. Requirements

  • Manage RMF package IAW NIST 800-53. This includes reviewing documentation delivered by the prime contractor, updating each system’s eMASS package, and making recommendations to the ISSM and PM.
  • Review the RMF controls and assessment procedure test results in eMASS vs SOP documents from the prime.
  • Assist with drafting policy memos or TBS-level policy documents to address gaps in current MDA issuances.
  • Manage CTOs and IAVMs for each package. CTOs and IAVMs received from the LCC team and reviewed. The CTOs and IAVMs are sent to the prime contractor with recommendations. Responses are received from the prime contractor, and the system POA&M is updated in eMASS accordingly.
  • Attend meetings and capture meeting minutes. Attended meetings with or instead of the government customer to ensure their awareness. Written meeting minutes are sent to the government customer as required.
  • Support cyber test events. MDA systems that are part of the MDS (ACD, CVI, CVPA, and AA), as well as CVTs, as required by RMF.
  • Travel: 10 %
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance upon hire and to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
  • BS & 5 years experience (additional years of experience may replace my degree with a government-approved waiver)
  • IAT Level II certification
