About The Position

This is a technical sales support role, focusing on Cisco Security Architecture, Individuals on this team have expertise within multiple cybersecurity domains and an understanding of the industry. Solution Architects are frequently asked to perform technical research and provide technical documentation, customer-facing presentations, etc. and, present as a subject matter expert. The continuous development of knowledge of Converges service delivery offerings and partners technical capabilities is a must. The Solution Architect will communicate the effectiveness of these solutions and ultimately demonstrate how it they can satisfy our clients’ requirements and expected outcomes.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Earn & maintain applicable vendor and industry related certifications.
  • Ethical and Critical Thinking
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Technical knowledge / experience with Cisco Security Solutions is primary, in addition to vendors like CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Forcepoint, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft Security, IBM Security.
  • Time management as well as written and spoken communication skills are all highly valued.
  • Previous SA experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Experience participating in and hosting technical, client-facing presentations centered around a specific IT topic or challenge.
  • Experience with the Cisco Security Solutions.
  • Experience working on projects including Cloud Security, IAM, SOAR, AI, etc.
  • Experience researching cutting edge IT security principals, theories, concepts, and technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certification(s) with various cybersecurity vendors and / or ISACA, SANS, ISC2, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Present product level guidance and informed recommendations for our customers.
  • Present solutions designed to address customers information security requirements.
  • Develop and present unique service and product integration strategies.
  • Work directly with our strategic vendor technical resources to better understand their solutions.
  • Aid in the development of unique marketing collateral and support the development of Converges public brand.
  • Collaborate with Converges product integration, managed services, sales, PMO and marketing teams.
  • Promote Converges commitment to a service led strategy to our customers.
  • Works on complex IT security challenges and provides highly creative, innovative solutions to our customers.
  • Apply effective time-management to effectively accomplish short and long-term focused objectives.
  • Communicating the effectiveness of services and or solutions includes process oversight and creation of statements of work and other related client facing documentation.
  • Work closely with the sales team and clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Service incoming Presales Requests (“PSR’s”) in accordance with applicable MBO, KPI’s and SLA’s.
  • Oversee and deliver high-quality product/service demonstrations and presentations, explaining complex cybersecurity concepts in an understandable way.
  • Develop and present customized solutions to meet prospective client's specific needs, based on our suite of cybersecurity offerings and vendor product capabilities.
  • Assist in training sales team members on the technical aspects of our products and services, as well as on emerging trends in the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with local/territory-based vendor counterparts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
