The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Vulnerability Management) will be responsible for leading the identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities across our enterprise environment. This role will drive automation, risk-based prioritization, and collaboration with IT and DevOps teams to reduce cyber risk and improve security resilience.

  • Lead the enterprise vulnerability management program, ensuring continuous monitoring, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar.
  • Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, threat intelligence, and business impact to focus remediation efforts effectively.
  • Develop automation and integrations for vulnerability scanning and remediation processes, working with DevSecOps teams.
  • Collaborate with IT, application security, and cloud teams to ensure timely patching and configuration hardening.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into vulnerability trends, remediation progress, and risk reduction efforts.
  • Stay current on emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and security best practices to enhance the program proactively.
  • Support compliance efforts for frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOX by ensuring timely vulnerability remediation.
  • 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, etc.).
  • Experience with threat intelligence integration for risk-based vulnerability prioritization.
  • Familiarity with patch management and endpoint security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with IT, security, and business teams.
