The position involves deriving security specifications from business requirements and designing security solutions that support core organizational functions, ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, and high availability. The role requires gaining organizational commitment for security infrastructure systems and software plans, as well as assisting in evaluating and selecting necessary security technologies. The Security Solution Architect will provide integrated infrastructure-related technical expertise across the organization, from conceptualization and project planning to post-implementation support. The position works under limited supervision with various stakeholders, including Corporate Information Security personnel, Line of Business personnel, external vendors, and internal IT Services personnel. The role includes developing security specifications, requirements, and architecture artifacts in compliance with corporate standards, laws, and regulations.

  • Architect effective and efficient solutions that meet the Bank’s needs and requirements.
  • Create Cybersecurity Blueprints detailing application interactions/integrations between on-prem and cloud-based applications.
  • Apply in-depth expertise in Identity and Access Management and experience across cyber/information security.
  • Participate in gathering and developing requirements by coaching stakeholders.
  • Interpret requirements to determine the best solutions and approaches.
  • Create architectures and operational documentation with support from engineering and operations staff.
  • Advise, consult, lead, guide, and mentor project teams and support staff.
  • Participate in agile planning processes and delivery methodologies.
  • Build relationships with internal clients.
  • Conduct threat modeling and security gap assessment exercises.
  • Contribute to the creation of policy, standards, Minimum Security Baselines, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Escalate security risks and other applicable risks.
  • Conduct post-mortem reviews of projects/products.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent education and related training.
  • Eight years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering and/or architecture in information security areas.
  • Highly experienced in network security architecture and application of Defense-in-Depth principles.
  • Specialized knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
  • Deep knowledge of mainframe security, authentication and authorization technologies, application security, enterprise databases, encryption methods, incident response processes, and firewall technologies.
  • Subject matter expert in Cloud architectures and security principles.
  • Deep knowledge/experience with securing complex AWS and Azure architectures.
  • Understanding of security foundations and standards such as NIST SP800-series, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27000.
  • Solution expertise in AWS/Azure Cloud application migration.
  • Certification: CISSP-ISSAP, AWS, AZURE, SANS or TOGAF certifications.
  • Generative AI / LLM Consulting or professional services backgrounds.
  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Security, or related field.
