About The Position
Staples is seeking innovative individuals who combine superb technical, analytical, and communication skills to join our Cybersecurity Rotational Program. This program is designed for those who aspire to be part of a dynamic team responsible for safeguarding our virtual environment. As a Cybersecurity Rotational Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to engage in four, six-month rotations across various Cybersecurity subdisciplines, including Threat & Vulnerability Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Application Security, Identity & Access Management, and Protection Services. This role is ideal for those who want to work on cutting-edge technology and drive key projects within a multi-million-dollar company while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid work model, which includes three days in the office and two days remote based at our corporate headquarters in Framingham, MA. In this fast-paced environment, you will be challenged to identify innovative ideas and develop proof of concepts that address the existing and future needs of our growing business. Your responsibilities will vary based on the specific rotation you are in and may involve advanced work in incident handling, including preparation, detection and analysis, remediation, containment and recovery, and post-incident review. You will also be involved in configuring alerts and dashboards, reporting on bot and web access firewall activity, assisting in the development and refinement of business continuity, emergency readiness, and disaster recovery plans, as well as coding and security scanning to ensure the protection of company applications. Additionally, you will consult with internal customers on general cybersecurity inquiries, making this role both challenging and rewarding.
