About The Position

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior System Administrator - Cybersecurity/RMF to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - This position is located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract(SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing security changes and the effects of the overall system. Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system security and modifications. Ensures security configuration identification by reviewing system security documents for completeness and proper authorizations. Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when mandated specifications cannot be met. Reviews all issued documented security patches, document security updates for accuracy, completeness and proper approvals. May structure and maintain databases. Submits Cybersecurity engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status. Prepares security configuration audit reports for all programs. Cyber Systems Administrators work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.

Requirements

Required CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent level IAT2
Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree & 5+ years of experience; OR Masters Degree & 3+ years of experience. Nine years of applicable experience with a High School Diploma will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Have a demonstrated ability to communicate exceptionally well both orally and in writing, as well as have a positive customer service attitude. Strong proactive team player.

CompTIA CASP Certification and/or ISACA CISM Certification
Previous experience with configuring and implementing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Previous experience with operating/maintaining ACAs and eMASS security systems and overseeing Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).

Responsibilities

Reviewing security changes and the effects of the overall system.
Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system security and modifications.

Developing and maintaining Cybersecurity TTP/SOPs for the infrastructure including VDI Environments.
Developing in-depth knowledge of system administration and processes for the diverse systems and networks managed, including monitoring and supporting routine patches, installs, upgrades, and task orders impacting computer systems.
Tracking, reviewing, and ensuring the quarterly implementation of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) systems by applying cybersecurity configuration standards to harden systems, software, and networks, ensuring compliance and reducing vulnerabilities across operating systems, browsers, and applications.
Tracking, reviewing, and ensuring the quarterly implementation of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across computer systems.
Overseeing and updating Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) across HQ Campus eMASS packages. Ensuring quarterly updates include the latest scan results, STIG implementations, and evidence demonstrating progress in mitigating vulnerabilities.
Maintaining comprehensive records of deviations from the USSOCOM Enterprise Baseline for software and hardware configurations within HQ Campus systems.
Working closely with System Owners and Planners to provide Information Assurance guidance for new project initiatives and package renewals. Collaborating on developing, updating, and sustaining critical cybersecurity documentation, such as System Security Plans, Business Continuity Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and Vulnerability Management Plans.
Ensuring that hardware/software artifacts for eMASS packages are kept current, coordinating with appropriate offices for re-approval of systems with lapsed statuses.
Serving on the HQ Campus Change Control Board as a cybersecurity technical expert, aligning with USSOCOM Manual 380-3 and industry best practices to ensure robust security measures are in place for system changes.
