CVP is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our cybersecurity project in a strong team environment with an award-winning technology, business, and healthcare consultancy. This is an opportunity to make an impact laying the framework and building cyber maturity for our federal client.

  • Demonstrate and implement Project Management best practices in an IT Enterprise environment that reduce risks and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor program execution to identify obstacles and deviations from the plan and take corrective action as needed.
  • Prioritize observability and measurements. Track progress towards meeting contractual and client expectations, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Enforce a customer-centric outlook and encourage out-of-the-box thinking in introducing innovative solutions.
  • Conduct continuous risk assessment and management including developing measures to reduce risk in program execution.
  • Ensure timely communications across the program that include daily oral and written statuses.
  • Assist in the development of future strategic plans and associate program plans. Assist with integration of other supporting and adjacent strategies or strategic plans.
  • Enhance the organization’s compliance with cybersecurity and technology risk management requirements by DHS, GAO, Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and NIST.
  • Develop and update policies to align with OMB, GAO, DHS, NIST, CISA, Congressional and other cybersecurity mandates, and directives.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance.
  • 2-4 years of recent Program/Project Management experience.
  • Must possess experience and understanding of government contracting.
  • Project Management experience in an IT Enterprise environment that includes performance, budgeting, risks, and maturity.
  • Strong and effective verbal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience supporting a cybersecurity environment.
  • Prior experience supporting business development processes that include capture and proposal writing.
  • Any cybersecurity certification such as CISSP or CISM.
  • CAPM or PMP certification is strongly preferred.
