This position advises the AODR, AO, CISO of DoD RMF matters related to systems based on the evaluation of security controls, technical findings and artifacts. Requirements

  • Five (5) - Ten (10) years of experience.
  • BA/BS college degree required.
  • DOD 8570/8140 IAT II (or better)
  • Top Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth knowledge of all NIST and CNSSI publications related to RMF and security controls for national security systems (NSS) and non-NSS systems.
  • Working knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), DoD IA guidance and policies, and NIST 800 series standards.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with eMASS software supporting the RMF process.
  • Working knowledge of ACAS Security Center to include report generation and evaluation of vulnerability and discovery scans.
  • Working knowledge of STIG Viewer/ eMASSter to validate STIG checklists and SCAP scans.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment as well as independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the Information Assurance Directives (IAD) Team with theresponsibility of reviewing higher-level cybersecurity orders to includeDCDC Cyber Tasking Order (CTOs) as well as OPORDS / TASKORDS / WARNORDS /EXORDS / PLANORDS, etc.
  • Acknowledge receipt of orders and tasks, distribute to system ownersthroughout the agency, and manage actions through closure.
  • Attend daily DCDC operation sync meeting and coordinate with theDCDC Battle station on all outstanding tasks and actions.
  • Attain an understanding of DTRA systems, enclaves, and environmentsto distribute and coordinate tasks internally.
  • Understand current technologies and have the ability to dynamicallyresearch new technologies to determine Order and Task applicability fordistribution to various information system environments.
  • Prepare status briefings of all CTO tasking and priority items andbrief to cybersecurity leadership.
  • Coordinate with other internal DTRA teams for awareness includingthe DTRA CSSP, Cyber Watch Officers (CWO), and validation team on CTOtasking and compliance.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity systems and cybersecurity tools (i.e.eMASS, ACAS, CMRS, Tanium, ESS, etc.).
  • Ability to translate technical and general oral and writtencommunication to leadership and peers.
