About The Position

Our client is an award winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our Armed Forces. They have a need for a Cybersecurity (Operational Technology) Workforce Strategy Consultant to work a hybrid schedule at the Pentagon. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of OT cybersecurity workforce development programs, including training, strategic workforce planning, stakeholder coordination, and program reporting aligned to enterprise cyber transformation objectives. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OT/CS cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443, and NERC CIP; 3+ years of experience
  • Proven experience managing training programs for federal or DoD audiences; 4+ years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both executive and technical audiences; 4+ years of experience
  • Experience conducting workforce needs assessments and performing skills gap analyses; 3+ years of experience
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across federal teams; 3+ years of experience
  • Experience delivering technical training through various formats, including instructor-led (ILT), virtual instructor-led (vILT), tabletop exercises, and scenario-based training; 3+ years of experience
  • Proven ability to develop and manage program documentation and deliverables within a federal program environment; 3+ years of experience
  • U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with DAF or DoW OT/control systems cybersecurity programs or initiatives (preferred)
  • Exposure to federal cybersecurity workforce frameworks and DoW/DAF workforce development policies (preferred)
  • Possession of, or progress toward, a cybersecurity certification (preferred)
  • Experience creating briefings or training materials for federal government or DAF audiences; 2+ years of experience (preferred)
  • Participation in DoW or government cybersecurity forums, working groups, or conferences; 2+ years of experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute OT cybersecurity workforce development curricula and training initiatives in alignment with DoW policies and Team objectives.
  • Lead and deliver training workshops, tabletop exercises, and CRRE program activities for DAF personnel across the Pentagon and CONUS locations.
  • Drive workforce strategy and planning efforts, including conducting needs assessments, identifying skills gaps, and developing workforce plans aligned with the DAF Cyber Transformation Roadmap.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain workforce development program documentation, including work plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and Executive Committee briefing materials.
  • Support cross-functional stakeholder engagement and coordination with Team leadership, cyber communication teams, and interagency OT workforce partners.
