About The Position

Cybersecurity Mission Analyst The Opportunity: When our country’s cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough—we need a plan. That’s why we need you, a strategic planning, security, policy specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience. As a cyber strategic planning and policy development specialist on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of your client’s current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working with the Federal government or Federal consulting
  • Experience in supply chain, cybersecurity, or risk management efforts
  • Experience with writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence or material, such as organization level policies, strategies, or guidance, to support decision-making
  • Knowledge of DoD and interagency cybersecurity policy and governance
  • Ability to serve as an SME on the cybersecurity program within the DoD
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with supporting DoD-level organizations, including Action Officer duties and staffing processes or tools
  • Experience facilitating meetings, such as working groups and conferences, and associated pre and post meeting activities
  • Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications
  • Knowledge of Joint instructions and manuals
  • Knowledge of DoD policy around non-traditional IT Cybersecurity, including supply chain risk management
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • CISSP or CISM Certification
