About The Position

This position is hybrid and expected to work on site at Ft. Belvoir a minimum of three days a week. This is not a remote position. The Cybersecurity Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Consultant will provide Lean Six Sigma consulting services as a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for a Department of Defense (DoD) client in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The consultant will be responsible for facilitating and providing decision services using innovative, progressive, and results-oriented approaches for DoD engaged in collaboration efforts, working groups, or teams. The support includes defining, refining, and resolving disputes, disagreements, and divergent views; leading or facilitating group briefings and discussions to enable focused decision-making and issue resolution using a variety of improvement methodologies. The consultant will perform analytic and administrative duties related to project execution and implementation of recommendations, provide modeling, simulation, and other applicable approaches to support a robust approach to improving processes, and record discussion content and related facilitation support services with supporting reports. Additionally, the consultant will coach government personnel through project execution at the green belt and black belt level or equivalent in other methodologies throughout the life of their projects, provide coaching to client and project leadership, and maintain and utilize CAPER as the authoritative source for Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects.
