Requirements

  • CISSP certification
  • 7+ years cybersecurity experience
  • Clearance requirement: Top Secret Clearance
  • RMF implementation
  • eMASS and POA&M tracking
  • Vulnerability management (ACAS, VRAM)
  • Navy cybersecurity compliance
  • US Citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Lead all cybersecurity and information assurance activities in accordance with RMF, FISMA, DoDI 8500/8510, and DON cybersecurity guidance.
  • Oversee Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for DON OA systems, ensuring continuous ATO maintenance.
  • Manage development, tracking, and remediation of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and report status to Government stakeholders.
  • Conduct and oversee vulnerability assessments, network scans, Web Risk Assessments (WRA), and remediation verification.
  • Serve as lead for the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program, including review of ACAS/VRAM results and compliance tracking.
  • Coordinate with system owners, ISSMs, and Government cybersecurity officials to ensure timely resolution of security findings.
  • Provide cybersecurity expertise supporting system hardening, configuration compliance, and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Maintain cybersecurity documentation and reporting required for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Advise the Program Manager and Government on cyber risk posture, emerging threats, and mitigation strategies.
