Cybersecurity Internship
About The Position
Summary: The Cybersecurity Intern will assist the cybersecurity team in monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting security initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity and flexible hours to accommodate the intern's academic schedule. This internship will be located in our Customer Support Services office in San Jose, CA. Internship Requirements One‑year commitment from June 1, 2026, through May 28, 2027 Summer - full time (32-40 hours per week) Fall/Spring/Winter - based on school schedule 100% on-site, no remote option Eligibility for employment in the US is required without sponsorship (ex. OPT, F1, etc.)
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Cybersecurity, IT, or related degree program
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Flexible, part-time availability
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and logs for security threats
- Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing and follow up to ensure issues from the penetration test are remediated
- Assist in maintaining security tools and systems
- Help investigate security incidents
- Assist with patch management and system updates
- Organize security documentation and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to mitigate risks
- Other duties as assigned
