Cybersecurity Internship
About The Position
As a student intern with our cybersecurity team, you’ll assist with the organization’s cybersecurity area in protecting firm, employee, and client data by mitigating and eliminating internal and external cybersecurity threats and maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations. You’ll aid in performing routine cybersecurity assignments according to established guidelines which may include services related to threat management, vulnerability and risk management, and disaster recovery. You will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Pursuing a bachelor’s in computer information systems, computer science, or a related area preferred
- Ability to adhere to the firm’s IT security policy and follow established procedures
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
