Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern to join our Cybersecurity team. The position starts in the spring and continues through the summer.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong self-motivation, focus, and passion.
  • Applicants should be juniors, seniors in college, graduate students, or recent graduates of an associate program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure/M365/ Windows OS is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a daily review of cybersecurity escalations and reported phishing emails.
  • Manage all technical problems and resolutions through a ticketing system.
  • Documentation of actions taken and resolution steps for future reference.
  • Assess SIEM/EDR/AV alerts daily and complete action items resulting from review.
  • Shadow teammates as they follow Incident Response protocols.
  • Coordinate with team members and other departments to resolve complex issues.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings.
  • Submit timesheets and complete required training sessions.
