About The Position

As an intern at Carpenter Technology, you will be part of a dynamic cybersecurity team led by Michael Hoehl, CISO, who has over 20 years of experience in Information Security. The team is focused on sustaining security safeguards, responding rapidly to cyber threats, and raising awareness of business risks associated with technology. Your role will involve assisting with the integration of AI into Identity and Access Management Technology, supporting Zero-Trust initiatives, automating playbooks for incident response, and contributing to daily cybersecurity duties following standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or Master's degree program majoring in Information Security or Cybersecurity at Carnegie Mellon University
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Willing and able to work on-site at Carpenter Technology office location 3 days per week
  • Applicants MUST be US Citizens due to Carpenter's government contracts
