About The Position

As a Senior Cybersecurity Incident Response Engineer, you will leverage your strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities to address modern cybersecurity threats. You will take ownership of issues, leading your team to action and ensuring that problems are resolved effectively. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with various stakeholders to achieve our security objectives. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying, triaging, and investigating potential security incidents. You will coordinate containment, remediation, and root cause analysis for these incidents, ensuring that our systems remain secure. Your expertise in endpoint, network, and cloud forensics will be essential as you document and implement runbooks and standard operating procedures for incident response. Additionally, you will design and develop tools and capabilities to support and automate response activities, acting as a mentor and escalation point for junior team members. Your actions will reflect Starbucks' guiding principles, and you will be expected to model these values in your work.
