As a Cybersecurity Forensic Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving the creation of Lubrizol's global Cybersecurity threat program. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. Your work will be globally focused and will include the following.

  • Participate in incident response efforts.
  • Lead and conduct forensic investigations of cybersecurity incidents, including data breaches, malware attacks, unauthorized access and related cyber concerns.
  • Gather, preserve and analyze digital evidence using forensic tools and techniques.
  • Define and implement chain of custody processes necessary to support potential follow-up legal actions.
  • Prepare and present technical reports of analysis, findings and recommendations suitable for presentation in a courtroom.
  • Provide expert opinions and recommendations on cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities, including remediation measures and preventive controls.
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest security threats, attack techniques and forensics, and incorporate them into forensic processes.
  • Establish and implement functional strategies involving people, processes and technologies to support areas of responsibility.
  • Mentor and train junior analysts on forensic techniques, best practices and investigative methodologies.
  • Remain globally focused and work successfully within highly collaborative cross functional IT and business teams.
  • Serve as a liaison with corporate and local Legal and HR resources, Information Security Senior Management, Information Security colleagues and IT personnel.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new forensic methodologies and techniques to enhance investigation capabilities.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of forensic tools, scripts, and processes to streamline and automate investigative tasks.
  • Work independently while addressing highly complex investigative and threat emulation processes.
  • Other information security activities as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, digital forensics, or a related field.
  • Relevant certification such as Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GCFA or GIAC forensic and/or incident/handling response certifications.
  • 5 years of proven experience in cyber forensics, incident response, or digital investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of forensic methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Experience using forensic and vulnerability/attack simulation tools.
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field considered a plus.
