We are actively seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Security Engineer Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, reporting directly to the Director, Security Engineering. The Cyber Security Engineer Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our security technologies, while enforcing and enhancing enterprise security controls across the landscape, which includes on prem Infrastructure, SaaS, and cloud. This position will manage a team of Security engineers and be responsible for ensuring the team’s success. This position will report to the Director Security Architecture & Operations. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced, and technically proficient individual with a passion for information security.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in cyber security and engineering
  • Strong technical skills in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEMs
  • Diverse technical leadership background in Security and Risk Management combined with industry knowledge and applied experience
  • Demonstrated ability in leveraging security industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
  • In-depth knowledge for cloud security solutions and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, manage, and maintain the security Infrastructure
  • Annually review and provide recommendations on Security controls across the enterprise, including global policies and hardening configurations to safeguard company and clients
  • Manage and maintain the data pipeline to handle vast amounts of aggregated security data, ensuring data integrity, and clear visibility with our Cyber security response technologies
  • Work with the business to conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations
  • Manage change control, provide security reviews and approvals for implementation
  • Stay ahead with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security requirements are incorporated into all aspects of new enterprise implementation and current operations
  • Manage security reviews for deployment of new IT technology, proof of concepts, and technology innovation
  • Manage a team of security engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise
