About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is looking for Cybersecurity Engineering Associates to join our Enterprise Technology team through the Cybersecurity Rotational Program. This program is designed to help early‑career technologists build meaningful skills, gain real-world experience, and grow into the next generation of cybersecurity and technology professionals. This role is part of a two-year rotational experience designed to build your skills across multiple cybersecurity domains. You’ll complete three eight‑month rotations across key areas of information security, including, but may not be limited to Cyber Threat Fusion, Phishing awareness, Non-Human Account Management, Penetration testing, Data Loss Prevention, Third Party Risk and Governance, Vulnerability assessment, Cloud Security and Secure Development. giving you broad exposure to how Wells Fargo protects customers, data, and systems at a global scale. You will also participate in the Career Opportunities in Development and Engineering (CODE) Program — a two‑year development program that runs alongside your rotational cybersecurity experience. CODE is designed for recent grads, coding bootcamp alumni and individuals with hands-on technical experience looking to break into tech. No four‑year degree is required. CODE provides: Immersive onboarding and foundational technical training A supportive cohort experience of peers starting their tech careers Dedicated mentors and program managers who guide your development Professional development, career coaching, and workshops CODE focuses on your overall career readiness, technical foundations, and professional skills while the rotational program focuses on your cybersecurity experience, giving you hands-on exposure to different cyber roles. In this role, you will:

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of demonstrated knowledge, interest and /or experience with Python, SQL, .Net, Terraform, Kubernetes, Privileged Access Management, and/or Directory Services as well as Cloud platforms and Cybersecurity acumen.
  • 6+ months of Information security knowledge including experience in one or more of the following security disciplines: information security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, host/network forensics, cyber-crime investigation, penetration testing, business continuity, or cyber threat intelligence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, managing email and calendars in Outlook, and building presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Experience communicating technical issues or access-related concerns across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in academic or professional settings.
  • Bachelor’s in cybersecurity preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development, integration, testing, deployment and support of technology solutions for complex and challenging business requirements
  • Understand Software Development Lifecycle process, quality, security and compliance requirements
  • Support implementation of moderate to complex projects
  • Develop skills in a specific domain with training
  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
  • Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
