About The Position

Security is not an afterthought here—it is a priority. We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to help us build, maintain, and monitor a secure IT environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. You will manage firewalls, analyze SIEM logs, and lead incident response efforts. You are the shield that protects our customers and our code.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Information Security or Network Engineering.
  • Possession of industry -standard certs like CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and routing protocols.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
  • Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate security tasks.
  • You are paranoid (in a healthy way) and stay up -to -date on the latest CVEs and zero -day threats.

  • Cloud: AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel

Responsibilities

  • Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate violations using SIEM tools (Splunk, Datadog, or AlienVault).
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weak points in our system.
  • Lead the immediate response to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and mitigation.
  • Secure our cloud infrastructure ( AWS/Azure) by implementing IAM policies and encryption standards.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR).
