Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer supporting space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, and hardware systems
  • Experience with providing input to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process activities and related documentation, and managing cyber documentation processes throughout the RMF lifecycle
  • Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Experience developing and managing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to track and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Experience writing RMF policies and cyber documentation to NIST 800-53 Rev 5
  • Experience drafting cyber related Interconnection Security Agreement (ISAs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and non RMF documentation
  • Knowledge of networking and cyber architecture as it pertains to networking, such as Demilitarized Zones (DMZs), Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Security Information and Event Management systems (SIEMs)
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • DoD 8140 Level II Certification, such as Security+ Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with XACTA or other cyber security, risk and compliance (GRC) platforms
  • Experience with cloud-based systems
  • Experience with Documented Operational Security Architecture (DOSA)
  • Experience with space-based remote sensing systems
  • Knowledge of Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) and Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP)
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or Information Security a plus
  • DoD 8140 Level III Certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, including ISSEP or ISSAP
