The Cybersecurity Engineer position at Truist involves day-to-day support for the Truist proxy with high levels of accuracy while meeting team and ticket deadlines and objectives. The role includes managing the support, policy, and engineering of the Endpoint Internet Access Control tools, specifically the Zscaler Cloud proxy for both production and test environments. Responsibilities encompass handling incident, request, and change control tickets, responding to problem tickets within SLA, managing Zscaler support tickets, and overseeing policy ruleset testing and deployment. The position also requires collaboration with teammates and other teams to resolve issues or implement new policies, as well as certificate management, IdP and access control, and traffic flow integration for proxies. Additionally, the role involves Zscaler Agent deployment and management, API support, and process documentation creation.

  • Manage day-to-day support, policy, and engineering of Endpoint Internet Access Control tools, Zscaler Cloud proxy.
  • Handle incident, request, and change control tickets.
  • Respond to problem tickets within ticket SLA.
  • Manage Zscaler support tickets and policies.
  • Test and deploy policy ruleset.
  • Manage Proxy Access Control file and Zscaler cloud platform maintenance.
  • Perform Splunk logging, querying, and dashboarding.
  • Collaborate with teammates and other teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage certificate management, IdP, and access control.
  • Integrate traffic flow and network/firewall control for proxies.
  • Deploy and support Zscaler Agent with Group Policy Controls.
  • Create and revise process and procedural documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in systems engineering or administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise information security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and identity management.
  • Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects.
  • Bachelor's degree and six years of experience or equivalent.
  • Entra ID Administration or Deployment history.
  • Service Now knowledge or history of use.
  • Experience with SCIM/SAML/SSO technologies.
  • Banking or financial services experience.
  • CISSP Certification.
