About The Position

Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network; assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies; ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure; and respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports. Experience with two or more of the following Cyber Areas: Vulnerability Analysis Network Security Monitoring, Incident Response/Forensics, Penetration Test/Red Teaming. Evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing up to classified information, and supervise and/or maintain the operational security posture for an information system or program. Individual shall have experience assisting or developing system security policy and ensuring compliance of change management and configuration control processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science
  • Three (3) years of notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
  • Eligibility for TS/SCI Clearance
  • Hold at least one of the following Certifications: Information Assurance Management (IAM) Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I
  • Experience with two or more of the following Cyber Areas: Vulnerability Analysis Network Security Monitoring, Incident Response/Forensics, Penetration Test/Red Teaming

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in Cybersecurity, Information Technology fields.
  • Certifications: IAT Level III certification
