About The Position
This is a Cybersecurity summer internship opportunity at 3fs, offering hands-on experience as part of an existing team of professionals with 1-on-1 mentorship. The internship duration is from July 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, and includes vacation. Compensation ranges from 800 EUR to 1000 EUR per month. The role is designed for individuals passionate about cybersecurity and eager to gain practical experience in a fast-paced IT environment, providing an opportunity to work on real-world security challenges, collaborate with experts, and enhance cybersecurity skills.
Requirements
- You share our enthusiasm for cybersecurity and related topics.
- You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering field.
- You have a basic understanding of networking, internet protocols and you can navigate easily in command line shells.
- You are able to code in at least one programming or scripting language.
- You are eager to learn and adapt in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats.
- Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
- Learn more about security as part of the software development process.
- Research emerging cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Participate in security awareness training and internal projects.
