About The Position
Cybersecurity Engineer SR ActioNet is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer SR to join our team in Multiple CONUS sites across ME (Bangor), MI (Battle Creek), TN (Chattanooga), NH (Portsmouth), VA (Vienna), WI (Madison, Milwaukee), and OH (Columbus, Toledo, Springfield). In this role, you will s erve as the security engineer representative on systems engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, IA architectures, systems/system components and enclave environments, and operations maintenance with system and network administration responsibilities.
Requirements
- Technical BA/BS degree; Experience: 7 years with BA/BS degree; Commensurate: High School diploma or associate degree plus a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer for large, complex programs/systems
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience working with DoD or USG programs
- DoDI 8140.03 IAM Level III, CISSP, and CISM
- Clearance: Secret
Responsibilities
- Implements cybersecurity requirements aligned to overall architecture
- Designs, develops, and tests standardized IaC/CaC
- Provides Tier 3 engineering services
- Maintains, configures, and analyzes network and host-based security platforms
- Uses command-line-level activities to configure, troubleshoot, analyze, and navigate system-level actions
- Assigns access level and/or privileges based on user’s need to know
- Enforces Enterprise-level established security policies
- Conducts vulnerability scanning and analysis of systems and tools
- Formulates and implements security certification methods
