About The Position

As an information security risk specialist on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with military leaders to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You’ll review technical and personnel details from engineers to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, whitepapers, and milestones. You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their critical systems. Requirements

  • Experience performing updates to plugin files from ACAS scanner and conduct regular vulnerability scans
  • Experience reviewing and backing up system audit logs
  • Ability to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Microsoft Windows Operating System (OS), and application patches
  • Ability to update virus scan capabilities
  • Ability to scan for and implement STIG configuration settings for RHEL and Windows OS
  • Ability to perform restricted area upgrade and downgrade procedures
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience submitting a system RMF package in NISP eMASS to obtain and maintain an ATO from DCSA
  • Experience working in a classified lab test environment and performing data transfer activities
  • Experience utilizing the Navy Evaluate STIG tool
  • Ability to administer and configure Aruba network switches
