The Cybersecurity Engineer supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will perform duties as the Risk Management Framework Administrator, implementing and maintaining the security and integrity of information systems and networks. The role involves identifying and resolving moderately complex issues to prevent cyber-attacks on information systems, ensuring the security of computer information systems from various threats, and allowing business operations to continue normally. The engineer will also develop and collect artifacts to document compliance for cybersecurity controls in accordance with DoD and NIST RMF guidelines, participate in the development and monitoring of methodologies and policies for a cyber-secure environment, and may provide forensic and intrusion support for high-technology investigations. Continuous monitoring of the cybersecurity posture of each system and implementing corrective actions until all vulnerabilities are addressed is also a key responsibility.
