  • Apply expertise in computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies to secure classified and unclassified networks.
  • Lead the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and develop boundary defense strategies using various IA-enabled appliances, including: Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Routers/Switches, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), and eMASS.
  • Execute secure configuration and STIG implementation on DoD systems and applications.
  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other DoD tools.
  • Remediate findings through patch management and secure configuration on both Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Interpret and apply security management guidance, directives, and policy frameworks to ensure compliance with evolving DoD cybersecurity standards.
  • Prepare and manage RMF documentation packages, POA&Ms, and ATO artifacts for system accreditation and continuous monitoring.
  • Active Secret security (Tier 5) clearance
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • Active DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (One of the Following): CASP+ CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP (or Associate) GCED GCIH CCSP
  • Minimum of 10 years of full-time professional cybersecurity experience with demonstrated expertise in: Computer security and implementation of DoD and Navy cybersecurity policy. RMF execution and use of cybersecurity boundary defense tools and appliances (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Routers, CDS, EMASS, ESS). STIG application and hardening of systems. Conducting vulnerability scans and analysis using ACAS. Patch management and remediation on Linux and Windows platforms.
