About The Position

We are a global law firm with a powerful strategic focus and real momentum. Our industry-focused strategy is seeing us take on pioneering work in places that others have yet to reach. Our shared values define our culture and our workplace. You will find us to be unusually collegial, team-oriented, and ready to innovate. We work seamlessly across practices, offices and around the world. This elimination of boundaries has allowed us to evolve into a law firm that works as hard for its culture as it does for its clients. Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an Associate with 4 to 6 years’ experience to join our Global Cybersecurity and Privacy team and support our Cybersecurity & Digital Risk Practice. Our Cybersecurity, Privacy & Information Governance Practice is one of the top-ranked global practices advising clients on their most complex cybersecurity, privacy, and digital risk matters. We represent leading multinational corporations, financial institutions, healthcare systems, and technology companies in addressing emerging threats, high-stakes investigations, and regulatory scrutiny across North America, Europe, and Asia. This position is designed for a lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous, and technology-driven environment. The role centers on cybersecurity incident response, regulatory defense, proactive preparedness, and compliance with emerging privacy and cybersecurity laws at both the state and federal levels. The ideal candidate will have direct experience advising on cybersecurity incidents or regulatory investigations, or a background in regulatory defense, complex litigation, or enforcement actions coupled with a strong technical aptitude and genuine interest in cybersecurity, data protection, and AI-driven technologies. You’ll work directly with partners, forensic experts, and executives on matters involving multijurisdictional incidents, cross-regulator coordination, and board-level briefings. Associates in this group receive substantive client contact early and play a critical role in shaping legal strategy and operational readiness for some of the most sophisticated companies in the world.
