Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Involved heavily in detection and auditing as it relates to the following technologies, policies, and methodologies: Secure Application Development Secure Cloud Architecture Server Administration SQL Databases Auditing and Logging DoD Risk Management Framework DoD cybersecurity requirements supporting: C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, Springboot, JSON, .NET Framework, vbScript, XML,operating within a DoD environment with enabling technologies such as Apache Tomcat, SFTP, Active Directory, RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXI 7.0+, Windows Server 2012/16/19+, SCCM, WSUS, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Advanced PowerShell, Enviromux, Cohesity, IIS, MS SQL, Microsoft PowerPlatform, Microsoft PowerBI Leverage cybersecurity tools which may include SPLUNK, Nessus, Atlas, Puppet, Elastic, EvaulateSTIG, eMASS and other evolving technologies Demonstrate an advanced understanding of secure coding practices, encompassing code review and scanning, ethical hacking, threat modeling, and Identity and Access Management principles Formulate and implement secure network architectures, while demonstrating mastery in subnetting, DNS, encryption technologies, VPNs, VLANs, VoIP, and diverse network routing methodologies. Proficiently handle a multitude of network and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols, etc.), fortifying against potential threats Provide guidance and act in mitigating Advanced Persistent Threats (APT), countering phishing and social engineering tactics, and orchestrating network access controllers (NAC), gateway anti-malware systems, and elevated authentication measures Provide independent and internal reviews of security controls and information systems Test the safety and effectiveness of individual components of cybersecurity defenses Analyze/investigate any breaches or security concerns Conduct regular audits to pinpoint weaknesses in the cybersecurity posture
