The Opportunity As a Cybersecurity Consulting Co-Op Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams in delivering cybersecurity solutions to clients. This role offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in the world of cybersecurity, where you will participate in security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and the development of cybersecurity strategies. You will gain exposure to various aspects of cybersecurity, including security control management and incident response, while working alongside experienced professionals. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, contributing to the success of projects. Requirements

Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
This role is four to six months in duration

Responsibilities

Supporting cybersecurity teams in client engagements and project tasks
Participating in security reviews to identify and assess risks
Assisting in the development and implementation of security controls and policies
Conducting vulnerability assessments to identify security defects and prioritize remediation efforts
Collaborating with teams using Agile methodology to enhance project delivery and adaptability
Engaging in security incident management processes to analyze and respond to threats
Contributing to the design and evaluation of security architecture frameworks
Monitoring security systems to detect and address potential threats
Assisting in the management of security compliance to adhere to industry regulations
Applying encryption technologies to safeguard sensitive data and maintain privacy compliance
Supporting regulatory response efforts to ensure adherence to legal requirements
