About The Position

The Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (BPMI) is responsible for overseeing the security of information systems, networks, and facilities. This role involves assessing third-party security programs, analyzing risks, and providing consultative support to enhance security awareness and capabilities within the organization. The analyst will work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with security requirements and address vulnerabilities identified through audits and scans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or compliance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.

• Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Previous experience in security or compliance auditing with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, RMF, CMMC, and related frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security oversight of assigned information systems, networks, and facilities.
• Assess the adequacy of third-party security programs, including physical and cyber controls.
• Analyze and convey risks that may impact the organization.
• Provide security consultative support to internal stakeholders and third-party entities.
• Review and approve security plans submitted by suppliers.
• Conduct assessments of supplier compliance with security requirements defined in contracts.
• Coordinate responses to supplier security issues to ensure protection of sensitive information.
• Maintain currency on security issues and conduct research into new security concepts and methods.
• Collaborate with equipment departments, IT, suppliers, and government agencies to support effective security.
