We are seeking a skilled and strategic Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure systems and infrastructure across our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, architecture frameworks, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to threat mitigation. This role offers preference for local Idaho presence, with flexible hybrid location (onsite Meridian Idaho campus, and work-from-home). #LI-Hybrid

  • Design and develop secure architecture solutions for enterprise systems, cloud environments, and applications.
  • Lead security architecture reviews and threat modeling exercises.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to integrate security into all phases of system development.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
  • Mentor junior security staff and contribute to security awareness initiatives.
  • Monitor technological advancement to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry, company standards, and emerging business requirements.
  • Evaluates the impact of changes or additions to IT systems and/or IT infrastructures.
  • Aligns system and business capability with corporate strategies.
  • 5-7/+ years’ technical experience in multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments, with minimum 2/+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or a closely related role.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity and access management, and encryption technologies
  • Experience with security frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Zero Trust, Defense in Depth)
  • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, related field of study, or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and/or other related certification(s)
