The Cybersecurity Architect Manager leads the design, implementation, and oversight of Multilevel Security (MLS) solutions supporting mission-critical Department of Defense systems. This role provides technical guidance, risk analysis, and daily direction to cybersecurity staff. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.

  • Analyze and define Multilevel Security (MLS) requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions to address MLS needs.
  • Gather and assess technical information related to organizational mission goals and security product capabilities.
  • Perform risk assessments and analyses for secure systems and applications.
  • Provide daily supervision, direction, and mentoring to cybersecurity team members.
  • Support secure software development and integration activities.
  • Support secure system design, testing, and documentation processes.
  • Review team deliverables to ensure adherence to user standards and design concepts.
  • Lead resolution efforts for security/IA challenges using expert-level understanding of IA products and disciplines.
  • Recommend and implement security controls using PKI, VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other IA tools.
  • Provide consultation on complex cybersecurity projects as a senior-level contributor.
  • Lead and direct the work of others within a technical security team.
  • Maintain compliance with DoD and DoN cybersecurity policies and frameworks.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Provide Monthly Status Report (MSR) to the RavenTek Program Manager by the deadline provided.?
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Travel on an as needed basis up to 10%.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Extensive knowledge of Multilevel Security (MLS) concepts and implementation practices.
  • Strong understanding of DoD and DoN Information Assurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with IA tools such as PKI, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead cybersecurity teams.
  • Skilled in risk analysis, assessment methodologies, and system hardening.
  • Ability to support secure system design, testing, and documentation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or other DoD 8570-compliant certifications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), desired.
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), desired.
